Vessels
Vessels made of tantalum or lined with tantalum are used to contain, store or handle aggressive process media. In chemical and pharmaceutical plants, high corrosion resistance and a design tailored to the operating conditions are essential.
Tantec manufactures vessels with tantalum linings or tantalum-clad components. The most suitable design is determined by the process conditions, the required connections and the installation dimensions of the particular application.
Smaller vessels and vessels for laboratory applications can also be manufactured entirely from solid tantalum.
Complex geometries, connection areas, agitator components and vessel internals can also be incorporated. For specific requirements, designs suitable for vacuum service and combinations with carbon steel, stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials are available.
